Galveston College Director of Human Resources

JOB SUMMARY:

QUALIFICATIONS:

Hold at least a master’s degree (from a regionally accredited institution) in an area specific to human resources or in a closely related area, and have a minimum of five years increasingly responsible human resources and administrative experience (experience in higher education specifically a community college setting is preferred, but not required); In addition, the successful candidate must have strong communication skills (written and oral), interpersonal skills, and strong computer skills.  The aptitude to ‘think outside the box’ and to work collegially and collaboratively with others is essential. Galveston College is a public community college with a credit enrollment of approximately 2,400 students, located on historic Galveston Island, located along the Gulf Coast of Texas
